Building Trust at a Nuclear Energy Facility
Interaction Associates designed and delivered a customized leadership program for directors and above at a nuclear energy facility.
The goal of the leadership program was to create and sustain a culture of trust, which would lead to improved safety and performance. The company’s results are measured annually using an Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) rating on a 1 - 5 scale, with “1” meaning the plant runs at state-of-the-art efficiency, and “5” meaning that the plant is very poorly run. The company’s rating has risen from INPO 2 to INPO 1 since the leadership program was implemented. Management attributes this improvement, in part, to IA’s leadership development program.
