Leading Virtually: Three Keys to Success (a free web event)

Leading Virtually: Three Keys to Success (a free web event)

Barry Rosen and I led an engaging and practical 90-minute web event, for which you can get the slides, below..

Collaborative leaders focus their efforts in three ways: (1) drive business results, (2) improve core processes, and (3) deepen key relationships.  But the virtual enterprise throws up particular barriers to this balanced approach. In the virtual workplace, it's harder for leaders to build rapport, develop trust, and establish meaningful collegiality.  In addition, employees working from different locations find it more difficult than with co-located peers to be productive. This web event is designed to get you thinking about new behaviors that bring about balanced leadership and an effective workforce.

What You’ll Learn

In this webinar, you'll learn 10 strategies and techniques for leading in the virtual workplace: to get things done (results), in better ways (process), with more engaged colleagues (relationship). Specifically, you'll learn ways to:

  • Get the right amount of participation in decisions
  • Share a vision of the future that inspires loyalty.
  • Encourage employee to express opinions and offer up innovative ideas.
  • Clear up misconceptions and reconcile differences.
  • Maintain momentum on mission-critical initiatives.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It's the old what goes around comes around routine. Did you acquire lots of links and I see lots of trackbacks??
