Tony Awcock is an accomplished international HR executive with an unyielding passion and integrity to help leaders and teams learn, grow and change. He has over 30 years of experience in leadership development, coaching, talent management, organization development, learning and development and HR management gained in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry, financial services and building materials sectors.
EXPERIENCE: Tony is able to foster relationships and build trust and confidence with leaders and teams; he possesses the skills to coach and facilitate individuals and teams through organizational change. He specializes in strengths based approaches to leadership development, emotional intelligence, neuro-leadership, coaching for performance, development and executive on-boarding, new manager assimilation and team effectiveness, talent management and organization development.
ACHIEVEMENTS: Tony was previously the Vice President of Leadership and Talent Management with Holcim Group where he worked with the top 150 global leaders, built the succession planning process, and organized various talent benchmarking and leadership development initiatives.
Prior to Holcim, Tony was Head, Global Leadership Development for Roche in Basel, Switzerland where he built the Centre of Excellence focused on enhancing the capability of pharma leaders. He also led the creation of new Roche values and leadership competencies.
Tony has also held leadership roles in Monsanto, GE, Novartis, and Syngenta - focusing on performance management, succession planning, change management, and global talent management.
EDUCATION BACKGROUND: Tony holds a MSC in Organization Consulting with a dissertation about appreciative inquiry from Ashridge Business School. He also earned a MBA from Bradford University in the United Kingdom.
