Philip holds a few core values which empower his work life and are the foundation of sustainable, professional success: honesty and trust, communication and collaboration, efficient process, and consistent execution. 

Philip joined Interaction Associates in 1997. He designs and facilitates custom training programs, coaches and certifies trainers in IA’s workshops, sets up and facilitates complex meetings, and coaches managers and executives in leadership, facilitation, and team-based problem-solving skills.

He has focused his nearly 30 years of professional experience on leadership, management and personal effectiveness training, and coaching for individuals, groups, and teams. With feet firmly planted in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors, Philip uses the powerful strategies of creating and communicating clear vision, mission, and value statements coupled with cutting-edge collaboration skills to guide individuals to bombastically contribute to their organizations.

Prior to joining Interaction Associates, Philip was the Executive Director of a non-profit training organization for 8 years and prior to that, an accomplished carpenter for 10 years. One of Philip’s greatest achievements is knowing that consistent, sustainable success is an inside/outside job involving self-awareness and people/team engagement.

Philip’s extensive client experience includes engagements with: Wellington Management, Putnam Investments, Alcatel-Lucent, The RMR Group, Nebraska Department of Transportation, General Mills, Genentech, Alkermes, Illinois Regional Offices of Education, Caterpillar, Exelon, National Fire Prevention Agency, General Electric, Welch’s, The Nature Conservancy, US Steel, DCP Midstream, Mt Sinai Health System, Southern California Edison, Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Capital One, Bon Secours Health System, Vertex, Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, Biogen, St Charles Parish, and Chandler Unified School District.Philip’s outside-of-work interests include family time, playing guitar, home carpentry, and continuing education in Kundalini Yoga & meditation.

Philip attended SUNY New Paltz and Boston University, studying Psychology and Criminal Justice.
